Aug. 13 – It was a GORGEOUS day yesterday (as is today) so I grabbed a lounger, a pillow, and my lunch and sunbathed on the front dock while eating lunch. Neil chose to stay inside. Last night about 10:40 (2240) I again grabbed a lounger, a pillow, and a sheet – after getting a few mosquito bites – and star bathed on the front dock!! The bullfrogs were “noising” across the bay and one of the loons called out “good night” from across the lake. I saw 4-5 satellites pass over and at least a couple dozen “shooting stars” in the 45 minutes I was out there. One of the ‘stars’ lasted from the area of the back dock all the way until just under the planet Mars!!! God sure does good work!!! It was almost an intrusion when the blinking lights of a high-flying plane appeared. I tried to get Neil to join me, but after getting a few mosquitos bites while standing on the back dock – and not seeing any heavenly action – he opted for reading in bed. Anyone want to join me for some sun bathing today OR star bathing tonight????
